Was it the dream that made me empty? Or the smell? The person standing at the door? Much is happening all around me, and yet I stand there. Waiting? For what? I run up and down that same corridor. But there is nothing. Empty. No answers.

Two Moments
Who ever has been in Bern for one week knows all the beggars we have in this city. There are not that many (it seems) and after some days you have seen them all.
The special thing: I guess there is no place on earth where the beggars are that polite! They give you a big smile, ask in a nice way and when you say "no, sorry" they nevertheless smile and wish you a nice day. And it doesn't even look fake. On some rainy day, when nothing seems to work out and you pass by one of those good-mooded beggars you really think yourself: nothing ever gets them down, does it?
The good moment last week: The whole Bernese "beggarship" gathered together in a busy street, with one guy playing the guitar and the others singing a song in several different tones. It sounded good. Honestly. One would think that beggars are not innovative. Apparently they can lead change.
I study Arabian. It's fun, I'm very motivated but I really don't know so much yet. Last week I stepped out of Migros and saw 2 dark man meeting. As I got closer I heard they were speaking Arabian. And as I walked past them, I actually understood what they were saying! OK, it was only "Hello, how are you? I'm fine, how are you? Fine". Nevertheless: Very good feeling.
Just wanted to point out.

Jouni comes back!
Last February, AIESEC in Bern had a twin project running with Finland. That means, we the Bernese went up to Finland for one week and the Finnish came down here afterwards.
This is where I met Jouni, the Finnish ice-fisher. :-) Chregu and me hosted him when he was in Bern, and although I was quite busy then, it still was a good time! He is currently studying in Berlin and now he decided to come back to Switzerland in January. So all you guys who have met him, look forward to having him here in Bern again from the 3rd - 8th of January '07!Jouni, I'm looking forward to seeing you again!

Wanted
Since my flatmate Johanna decided to quit her job and leave Bern, I'm sort of alone in my appartment (no, I don't even have the worms anymore. The Kammerjäger killed them). Therefore I need to ask you:
Are you looking for a place to live in Bern? Do you fancy a room in a spacious and modern apartment? Something in the center of the city that comes with a nice young flatmate, like me?
Only 7 minutes from the station by bike, with a bus line that drives every 5 minutes right in front of your door? For only 600 Franks?
Are you cool and clean?
Then please come and live with me! From December 06 until April 07, the other room in my lovely 2-er WG will be vacant. Come and grab it!!! Or tell your friend who is looking for a place!
